Serials:
The Serials bibliographic format specification is used for printed, manuscript , and microform textual material that is issued in parts with a recurring pattern of publication, such as periodicals, newspapers, yearbooks. The designator code SE is often used in written MARC documentation for this material type.
A record created using the SE specifications is identified in Leader/07 by code s (Serial) or code b (Serial component part).
