522 Geographic Coverage Note (R) (Variable Data Field)
Field 522 contains information about the geographic coverage of the material (usually for survey material). Field 052 (Geographic Classification) is used to record geographic information in coded form.
The note is sometimes displayed and/or printed with an introductory phrase that is generated as a display constant based on the first indicator value .
The National-level record requirement for this field is Optional.
Field 522 is repeatable .
