In 1995, field 755 was made obsolete and the definition of field 655 (Index Term - Genre/Form) expanded to include terms relating to physical characteristics. For field 755, both indicators were undefined. The subfield codes were: $a (Access term), $x (General subdivision), $y (Chronological subdivision), $z (Geographic subdivision), $2 (Source of term), $3 (Materials specified), and $6 (Linkage).
