042 Authentication Code (NR) (Variable Data Field)
Field definition and scope:
Field 042 will contain one or more authentication codes assigned by centers that review (and upgrade, if necessary) a classification record in a national database. When defined, the authentication codes will be compatible with those used in other cooperative projects.
Field 042 is NOT repeatable .
