3. Country of Production
The country of production is considered the country of origin. The country of production is defined as that of the principal offices of the production company of the moving image work. Conflicts or uncertainties concerning the country of production should be explained in a note. See 7B10 .
The country of original release will be recorded in 4. Publication, distribution, etc . area.
Optionally, archives may choose to omit this area for moving image works produced in the country of the archive and use the area only for works produced or co-produced by other countries.
