Description/Instructions:
The successive/latest entry code specifies whether the serial is cataloged according to successive or latest entry cataloging conventions.
According to CONSER policy, all current cataloging must be in successive entry form. All AACR2 records are successive entry records, including those with title variation notes. Example:
