Forts:

Forts located in a city are classed as regions of the city, using the colon technique, the Cutter for the city and a :2. Forts not located in a city are classed under 4 or 9 with a geographic Cutter based solely on the name of the fort. Example:

If a park has been established around a fort and the park covers an area larger than the original fort the park can be classed as a region, under 2 or 7. It is therefore possible to have a fort classed under different areas, depending upon what form of the feature or region is depicted. Example:
