Coordinates
When recording the coordinate value for Greenwich prime meridian, precede the numerical value zero by W if the other coordinate value is preceded by W, or by E if the other value is E. Examples:
When recording the coordinate value for the equator, precede the numerical value zero by N if the other coordinate value is preceded by N, or by S if the other value is S. Examples:
Since no coding system to differentiate terrestrial coordinates from those of other celestial bodies exists, do not record latitudinal system coordinates for maps of the moon, planets, and other celestial bodies in the mathematical data area. Record such coordinates in a note. Example:
