Published Between 1800 and 1900:

For items published between 1800 and 1900, an added entry is made for every person or corporate body that might conceivably be considered as having a major part in the production of an item. For these items, persons or corporate bodies who served as printers, who engraved only the illustrations, etc. usually do not receive added entries, though the decision to make an added entry is made on a case-by-case basis. Generally, when there is doubt whether to make an added entry for these materials, an added entry is made.
