Series Statement - Tracing Practice:

Tracing practice should always be reevaluated under AACR2 guidelines. A series title that conveys information on the content or purpose of the work should always be traced. In the interest of cataloging simplification, as of August 1989 all newly-established series are to be traced.(9)
