Series Statement - Multiple Series Statements:

When an item belongs to two or more series each separate series statement is transcribed separately in the order specified by AACR2.

All separate series statements, including series statements after the first, are content designated according to normal conventions Example:

Note that whenever the established, traced form of a series after the first is the same as the corresponding series statement, the corresponding series statement is designated as a series traced the same (tag 440) and the corresponding explicit series tracing is omitted from the machine record.(10)
