Source of Map - From:
The introductory term From is used in describing the source of the item only when the map is identical with a plate in an atlas or other work and there is physical evidence that the item was removed from another publication (e.g., a plate number, folds, backing, text on verso, map printed on two sheets joined, etc.). Even the tiniest details in engraving or coloration are studied and any discrepancy excludes the use of this term.
Use the possessive form of the entry element when citing the work from which an item is removed. Example:
When the entry is the same for the item and the work from which is was removed, use the phrase the authors rather than repeating the entry element. Example:
