Appendix A. Fields Not Included in the CEG
MARC 21 defined
With the full implementation of format integration in 1996, all fixed and variable fields are now defined for serials. The CONSER Editing Guide includes those fields that are considered most likely to be used in serial records. Those that have not been included are listed below. In this category are all fields that relate to archival materials. Inclusion of a field in this appendix does not preclude its use in a serial record (FN). For further information on these fields, consult the MARC 21 Format for Bibliographic Data.
