Update 10, Spring 1999

Documentation of several new CONSER linking conventions is included in this update: linking to monograph records, the use of subfield $i and indicator value 8 in some linking fields in place of 530/580 notes, and identifying multiple linking relationships between titles. Changes stemming from LC's implementation of its integrated library system are also covered, including LC's use of other CONSER members LCCN and several obsolete elements previously used by LC. All MARC 21 changes implemented by OCLC and relevant to serial records are included in this update.
