006 and 008: Continuing Resources (CR)
The Continuing Resources field 008/18-34 contains coded data for all continuing resources, including serials and integrating resources. It is used when Leader/06 (Type of record) contains code a (Language material) and Leader/07 (Bibliographic level) contains code b (Serial component part), i (Integrating resource), or s (Serial). Field 008 positions 00-17 and 35-39 are defined the same in 008 fields for all materials.
