Character position definition and scope:

A one-character alphabetic code indicates more specifically the color characteristics of the moving image.

If the color portions of the item include more than one color process, a code for the predominant color process is given. The additional color processes are described in field 500 (General Note).

A fill character ( | ) is used when no attempt has been made to code this position.
