Field definition and scope:

Field 563 contains binding information and is intended primarily for use with antiquarian materials, rare books, and other special collections. It is not intended for serials bound together after publication for shelving and storage purposes.

This field is identical to field 563 (Binding Information) defined in the MARC 21 Format for Bibliographic Data.

Field 563 is repeatable.
