26.2 Uniform heading vs. duplicate entry

With few exceptions, the Library of Congress subject headings system, based on the principle of uniform heading, provides one heading for each given topic. In cases where duplicate, or reciprocal, headings exist for the same topic, such as headings for bilingual dictionaries and for foreign relations between two countries, both headings are assigned.
