Partial title added entries beginning with a word other than the initial word in the title are sometimes assigned to augment subject entries. A partial title added entry is assigned if the title names the topic specifically but the subject headings assigned do not completely convey the topic covered by the work. This method is not used when precise headings exist or can be established.
