42.52 Topical headings representing themes

Topical headings representing themes consist of two types: those used for literary works and those used for works about literature. Topical headings representing identifiable themes are assigned to all works about literature. They are also assigned to literary works, except individual works of fiction to which only limited topical headings are assigned. Examples
