7.213 Qualification
Parenthetical qualifiers are added to main headings in order to distinguish among homographs, unless the conflict can be resolved by means of adjectival phrase headings. They are also used to provide context for obscure or ambiguous terms. Parenthetical qualifiers generally take the form of names of disciples or categories or types of objects. Examples
