4A4. Fictitious or incorrect imprints
When all the details of an imprint as given in the source are known to be fictitious or incorrect, nonetheless transcribe this imprint in the conventional order. If the real details about publication are known, supply them at the end of the area as a correction in square brackets. Give the source of this information in the note area. For any other case, apply the appropriate rule (cf. 4B9 , 4C5 , 4D2 ). Example
