380 Form of Work

Field definition and scope:

Field 380 contains a class or genre to which a work belongs. The field may be used to differentiate a work from another work with the same title.

Multiple forms of work from the same source vocabulary may be recorded in the same field in separate occurrences of subfield $a (Form of work). Terms from different source vocabularies are recorded in separate occurrences of the field.

The National level record requirement for this field is Optional.

Field 380 is repeatable.
