Field definition and scope:
Field 383 contains a serial number, opus number, or thematic index number assigned to a musical work by the composer, publisher, or a musicologist. The field may be used to differentiate a musical work from another with the same title.
The National level record requirement for this field is Optional.
Field 383 is repeatable.
