Description/Instructions

Use field 535 to record the name and address of the repository with custody over originals or duplicates of the described materials.  This field is used only when the originals or duplicates are housed in a repository different from that of the materials being described.

This field does not end with a mark of punctuation unless it ends with an abbreviation, initial/letter, or other data that ends with a mark of punctuation.

First indicator - Additional information about custodian

The first indicator position contains a value that specifies whether the custodian is the holder of the original or a duplicate of the described materials.
